Thread: 7.0 Poster Class

I'd like it to be Corsair, or whatever new name they might give it. Would be exciting to have the trailer cut to the WoL at the bow of their own ship, navigating to the new world (Or Meracydia). And a scene change to them using their saber to cut through vines and such.

My money is either on GNB being the poster class-- or Machinist/Dancer (just for front cover alone). Though ARR was technically BLM for the cover of the game (and cutscenes was WAR). MNK/SAM was the cutscene cover for Stormblood, and the actual cover was Zenos

Make a not serious expansion. Hildebrand MSQ. New starting area and classes to level 1-90 as entry point for new players.

The Geomancer class in the FF series apparently actually uses Feng Shui, which would somewhat put them in somewhere between Conjurers and Astrologians I guess...

Geomancers in tactics also used plant magic. Summoning vines and what not. So a more druidic version of Geomancer could be a thing. Give them a 1 handed axe and wand for offhand.

We know its not one of the main NPCs so that puts off BLM, SGE, WHM, AST, GNB and RDM.

So my bet is it being the new class. However if we go to the new world then my bet is on MCH.

gunbreaker, ninja, or reaper. for marketing purposes you need some cool looking gigachad with a big weapon, or some cool melee weapon in general. at the very most they might do red mage since it heavily features swordplay, but, i doubt very much we'll be seeing a caster/ranged on the cover.

i only now read petite's post and it's great to see people who feel the same
