Ok i see your issue please unchecked Ambient occlusion that is not working 100% for ffxiv maybe in 2.0. Depth of field work ok but does suck a lot of FPS like for my 450gts it work fine but my screen only 1440x900.

you can also leave the background drawing quality andgeneral drawing if you like standard or 1 below high is fine becuase that does not really make much of a diff.

The texture quality should be fine at highest setting you can even add Multisampling x2 if you like

test out the game first without Ambient Occlusion that is your issue right there i bet.

This looks like it has more to do with your connection then your PC. He is correct when he says to turn off AO though.

    What ISP do you use?
What modem and router are you using and does it have the most recent firmware?
    Are you on wireless??
What network card are you using and does it have the most recent driver?
Have you done a full reboot of your modem and router? If your modem has a battery make sure to remove this when power cycling or it wount turn off.
CCleaner is a great easy to use tool for cleaning up your systems startup as well. You may have a ton of things running in the background.

The first thing I would do is reboot the network.
Step 1: Unplug modem and router. (Don't mix up power cords.)
If you unplug the modem and there are still lights on then you know there is a battery in it
somewhere and need to remove that also so the power is off completely. This is the case for a
lot of new routers that comcast uses because of there voice over IP thing, its so users can still
make emergency 911 calls If needed.
Step 2: Let it sit off for 3 min at least.
Comcast modems are especially picky and need a few min. I give em 5.
Step 3: Plug in the modem. Let it boot up fully, just give it a min.
Step 4: Plug in the router.
Step 5: Turn on your PC and give it a go.
    Still lagging????
Step 6: Run a long wire to the router from the PC. It doesn't have to look pretty, just for testing purposes.
    Did that work???
