My Problem With The Role Quest System Is How All Are Required For Major Side Story

This is especially in terms of Endwalker, where a major side story revolves around completing all five role quest lines, requiring you to level up and play a Tank, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS, Caster DPS, and Healer to get the whole story, even if you don't enjoy playing certain roles.

You can just watch on Youtube if you really want to get 'the whole story', this reminds me of how people were asking for a 'story mode for DSR' because they didn't want to do ultimate to see the 'story' (a literal 'lmao what if' scenario that is not canon), and for some reason refused to see someone else's POV of it, because I guess it doesn't count if it's not their WOL in the cutscene

I don't really enjoy DPS all that much, but I got every class to 90. Just do Levelling roulette and you'll get 90 eventually off of that

The thing is, DSR (and other Ultimates) are "what if" scenarios, while the epilogue to the EW Role Quests deals with a major part of the story and ties up loose ends. And I don't enjoy (or more likely, feel very overwhelmed by) Tanking and especially Healing in group content. Like, what if I am not able to quickly switch between targeting the boss and healing someone when needed?

The thing is, before job quests were self contained, and you could get the full MSQ story while only doing one job. And as I said, I am especially nervous about leveling Tanking and Healer in group content, where if you mess up, things are much worse, even in casual content, and while people may be patient in the early levels, if I made those mistakes in later levels (especially if I decide to make GNB my Tank and SGE my Healer, which start at 60 and 70, respectively), they would likely be much less forgiving.

Uh, no, the role quests, especially in EW, wraps up a major plot point of the MSQ, mainly of a certain type of creature (don't know how to spoiler stuff, if it is possible), as well as finishing a character's arc.

I think he is missing the point. Like I said, I am afraid to do Tank and Healer group content at higher levels, but group content is the only way to level them effectively (well, besides buying a level boost with real money)
