as for the person you quoted, it's basically the same as with every single person you confront about their hate of multiowners, they will eventually run out of argument (usually very fast) and then call it there because they have... actually nothing to prove their point. Multiowners take such a minuscule % of available houses, in most cases the terrible plots that no one want and end up available for months, some even available since lottery was out which is a very long time ago now, but they would rather those plots stay empty than a multiowner take it, its pure jealousy really but it's always funny to see, for some reason they think we should feel "guilt" or feel "bad" for taking houses that literally no one wants, i'll never understand lol.

Stormy, if your alt is on Dynamis then you know well enough to know that the individuals who are buying up wards here have not kept themselves restrained to smalls that nobody wants. There are a several hoarders who own multiple mediums and larges as well, last I checked there was a particularly egregious example in Mist. It's becoming a cesspit where instead of neighborhoods we have ward after ward of locked, undecorated houses with obvious naming conventions.

You love to throw out accusations of envy, but I own a large. I live in Shiro 46, it's my absolute dream plot and the reason my wife and I transferred. She was able to get a medium of her own, too. Between the both of us, that's more than enough. Is it really so difficult for you to understand that my grievance with you is a product of your own behavior?

There aren't enough meds and larges to go around even if everyone only bought one, not even on Dynamis, and let's be honest, this conversation primarily concerns those. Storm you are correct but it works in limited bubble around you. Have you considered your reasoning might not represent the majority of hoarders? Presenting it like "oh these poor unwanted S plots, alright then, I will take the burden off from your shoulders and obtain them since nobody wants them" is in contradiction what is happening in reality every time new wards are added. Everyone including hoarders goes after L and M first.

The fact is, not miniscule part of FC plots gets multiowned, and lot of M and L end up being sold elsewhere.

Why are you not telling the whole picture but are bending the truth in favor of your argument? People don't care about thousands of "free" plots if these plots are locked with unknown future date. They go to housing ward and count their current options, and react based on that fact.
Most complains are from existing owners. Not from sprouts that are happy to have their first 3mil and first house.

This is not to say you're wrong. I get your argument from posts some time ago and agree. The wards were not designed to be today's era development sprawl with hundreds of the same size bungalows rotated towards the sun. The residential maps offer plots of different size, vicinity to marketboard/aetheryte, even some isolated plots or nice design twists like ramps, platforms, various things in the residential map to fit multiple types of needs and wants.

Try to see it from point of view as owner of plot 9 in Shirogane. Imagine, that when you joined the game, only this plot was free, and you won from 3 total bids. Congratulations. One year after, looking against the same rock wall in front of the house is annoying, you saved some gil and would love to upgrade. You keep bidding for 3 months every week always fail because of the big number of bidders. Seems like many people want to upgrade from their unpopular S plots, but only very few will get lucky. Is this S plot your endgame? Is this the....best?
