Please more housing wards soon. And no more FC/Private Hybrid.

Good day, I am writing this forum post, as per today. Balmung and many of the NA Crystal housing situations are and have been getting MASSIVELY out of hand.

With the latest implimentation of Housing and housing wards, with FC/PRIVATE together making it even harder for people to get houses.

On Balmung, there's plethora of small 2-5 people FC's and Larger FC's who will roll around, bid on private houses, win them, relocate than do the same thing over again next lottery.

I've now tried for 75 diffrent houses.

I've played since 1.0 and right now, it is heart wrenching how BAD the Lottery system is.

Please don't get me wrong, it is better than the SPAM CLICK to be lucky system... but seriously... you have games like Old school runescape, who have done instances private housing... and it works. BUT i do understand wanting to have wards to show of decoration and all that, i like that too.

What i don't like is how utterly TERRIBAD the housing system is.

Please FIX this... AND please deal with the trolls who relocates just to ruin it for others.

I absolutely agree. But i love the game, everything about it, i've played since 1.0 so it's sad to see housing ruin what could and CAN BE a beautiful thing.

Balmung is already at 2+ bids on all smalls in 3 of the 5 districts. (Mist/Shiro/LB), I saw one small plot in Mist with 9 bids and another in LB with 13.

More Individual only housing wards are absolutely needed. And I'd go as far as to forbid relocation into them on Smalls. The amount of first time buyers who once again will be blocked from owning a house by those who already have one is one of the most infuriating parts of this whole system because you have to wait a week for the other person's old house to open up.

TBH there should be a cooldown on bidding for a same sized house by at least a month if you win one. Let people who have never had a house and have been trying since ARR to get one finally have a better chance.

I absolutely agree. I wanted to upgrade to a large from a small first when the lottery opened, BUT nope a FC stole it 2 minutes before lottery ended. And it was an FC who relocated from large to a large. :/

I'm with you. I would take it 2 steps further. I would have a lotto roll a series of numbers (like draw 2 lots) and reduce the bidding window by half; adding that time as a "cooling off" before the next bidding time
the first is the winner
The second is the runner up.

If the first does not claim the house.. it goes to the runner up during the cooling off period.
If the first is a Relo - the Runner up is immediately offered to take possession of the Relo before the end of the cooling off.

This would also stop folks from hammering a plot to remove it from the lotto and not claiming it till their buddy wins.

random shower thought....what if Relo's could immediately relo during a lotto and therefore immediately add their old house to the current cycle?

If you only try to get medium and large... then yes it is going to be harder to get a new house or a house at all, put your bet on a safe horse, to me it sound more like you do not want to bet on the none popular plots and complain about the higher chance losing on the lucrative ones.

1. Get house, any house
2. Later on, try and get a bigger one.

If not want to try the small ones at all, you may one day stand with empty hands instead.

The reason i said that is. I have a small, i've had a small for 4 years now. 4 years of NOTHING but a small. All cause of the trash housing system.

But ultimately. WHAT i mean is. Why is FC's in the pool as personal wards? Makes no sense imo. -.-
