Hey Devs,
I think it would be a lot of fun and exponentially increase the amount of personalization on glams if some dyes offered a pattern or, the dye is a patterned style itself. Thanks for considering!

We also need more regular single color dyes... for example - why is there no metallic pink? Or more shades of pink overall. Same goes for cold brown shades, we have just 5 of them.
It sure is limiting, while nice. I'd then hope they adjust the Drop rates of the Venture coffer at that rate.
But I'll wait til we know what the Graphics update entails. They really didn't give us much. but if it comes to metallic coloring, they did give us an example of a golden area with reflections. so who knows how deep it goes with armor, character and dyes.
what I would prefer.. is to be able to dye trim.
however, while more colours MAY be added, I doubt they redo gear dying as it sits
It would be nice if in the future there would be option to use 2 colors for pieces. Main color and off color. Many glam has a secondary color that is currently non changeable, which is a shame. Just allow us to have secondary color.
May Mao points you all in the direction of GW2 for an example of what a good dye system looks like? Hundreds if not thousands of dyes. All gears havings two separate dye channels. Dyes nots taking up inventory space (Once you learns a dye, is yours forevers). THIS is how Mao would likes to see dyes in FFXIV.
It be cool if we got some neon dyes. Applying that to certain armor would be pretty awesome.
Don't think we will see this anytime soon. Maybe after 7.0. Would like to see every dye in npc shop tho. Why do we still have to pay 400k+ for dying jet black?
I'd like to see more dyes that match colors used in gear.
