The Official Forums is an EXTREMELY poor example of a "Good Community"

Okay cool. Whenever I posted about him this week, it's either because someone mentioned him, or because he just proved himself to be the hypocrite everyone says he is. Where on earth does that say that I'm not worse than he is? Especially after, again, I've only done as much this week now?

He does live in other people's heads. And I did say, I'm not going to give a darn anymore. One week was more than enough for me, and I can see who's licking his boots right now. It's demonstrably pathetic.

Still. I got better crap on my mind than caring about Aveyond's girlfriend's opinions on myself. I'm not here to listen to trash. Because I know and I've shown that I can go to people and apologize for my behaviour when I rant. Can he? Can any of you?

But I'd rather at least have my own opinion and listen to others than shoving it down others' throats, and then seeing that ridiculous behaviour be touted as "better". It's more about you guys being obsessed with him even as you harass him. Literal insanity. He lives rent free in the entirety of the forum's heads. It is funny to watch certain people almost enter withdrawal when Aveyond disappears from the forums.

When you put in a suggestion ticket in game, it tells you to post on the forums, so that's what I do. And seeing the same issues go on for multiple years, well that just gets disheartening.

I'm not really sure why they are trying to do that, to be honest, but I guess it's better if I don't understand.

If I'm honest, the only real issue I have here is that I find some forumites lack empathy. Not all, just some.

For example - I've always found the 'the game is too easy' mindset difficult here - there are definitely some forumites who lack understanding or tolerance of anyone who says/implies that they don't find the game easy, and the replies to such admissions can come across as being pretty condescending if not, occasionally, outright insulting.

Again, though, this doesn't apply to all cases and I have to note that I'm grateful for the support I received when I first joined the forum and posted a thread pertaining to my poor performance and asking whether I should continue or not.

for me it is follows. Its how you look at it. Like someone mentioned before people on the forums (well some) are extremely self center for no reason at all. From time to time i find some of the discussions on here interesting like adding new options to characters etc but others i dont such as bring real like situations in a video games.

I do recall a time that the forums where way better than it was now. If anyone remember the time we made a book, want to say a screen shot book that we sent to yoshi p back in hw? Remember a time when we had troll post and we shut them down by making it about cooking recipes

But now its just a endless thing of bickering for no reason. Everybody thinks there opinion are great compare to others. Sadly to say it is not. Opinions are like assholes everybody got one but they thinks there's don't stink. We all want to enjoy the game fullest. But we all know this game has flaws but where should we go? they always say go to the forums and give feedback. The problem is with that is people keep making multiple forums post and not just keeping one big one alive and to get the point across.

Just wish people actually use there heads for once and use feeling. Tired of people always assuming and not using logic. Tired of the derailing. Tired of the lack of understanding. Tired of being tired of it all but hey if people want to meme so be it.

It was both maddening and hilarious in equal measures about the chocobo feet when that mod was like "Oh yeah...good idea we are gonna look into it"

Nothing. It's like as soon as the mod posted that response they were taken out back and shot.
