Can we please improve food for housing.

I understand why we can display food and consume it, but if we're just wanting to use it as decor, why can't we just display it, and disable the consume option for it?

I'd just like that to be an option all, and most food that's set for display and is consumable isn't even that good of food to use for stats.
Now if it was modern current content food that we could put up, that would be great.

But unfortunately, it seems like most foods are really just for decor since they don't really benefit players other than the 3% EXP buff, so please SE for the sake of stopping new players from ruining decor purposes, please consider adding it into the game.

I'm actually the opposite, I wish folks outside of my FC and personal home can interact/eat my food. Having a toggle be cool still yeah.

Would also like a toggle for this, for the same reason like Goodfellow. There was also another thread about this a while ago:

On that note, can we PLEASE GET A TOGGLE TO LET PEOPLE USE THE GOLD SAUCER MINIGAMES? It makes zero sense to have these only usable by the house owner and tenants. Letting others use them freely opens up new possibilities for players to make stuff like arcades.

Wait what, it is not possible to play the mini games? This is so weird...

They're considered interactable objects, so I expect the problem is there's just one global "can interact with doodads" setting, unless the furnishing is an interface to a particular feature (and then you need both "can interact with doodads" and permission to use whatever feature it's attached to).

It does make logical sense that you should be able to play the minigames without the same level of permissions as messing around with the lights or music or taking the food, especially since the Triple Triad table doesn't have the same restrictions, but it's probably yet another "the code's limited" problem (remembering also that "can play Triple Triad here" is an attribute that appears to be tied globally to a given location, you can or you can't and who you are isn't taken into account).

On the one hand, excuses for SE? On the other hand, realistically, who knows how twisted the actual code is, plus anything needing the slightest update means we get another maintenance and things get pushed around accordingly ("people that play on Monday nights" and "people that do S rank hunts" for instance are likely far larger portions of the playerbase). So who actually knows when it is really reasonable to squeeze it in developmentally speaking ...
