Just let everyone plop a house on their Island Sanctuary

Now that we can add decor to our island sanctuary, has anyone actually tried decorating? As much as I love decorating, the island sanctuary still leaves alot to be desired. (I have not cared to decorate it.)

Several players have shared screenshots of things they've done on their island in various places.

We don't have the storage glitch to work with but it does seem to be possible to change the Cozy Cabin look to glitch things into the outer edges of the new upgrade look. I haven't played with it yet to see how well it works with the first and third versions of the cabin, only saw the effect when I upgraded from my second version glamour to the latest. Still hoping I can squeeze a Summer Bonfire on top of the Felicitous Furball somehow.

I've done very little with it, but that's because I've been busy with other things. I feel like this won't be a substitute for housing, but all the same it'll be nice to have.

I haven’t done too much with mine yet… lots of cedar trees around the edges, the cold knight’s cook fire, some pergolas and a deck… I still don’t really have a vision for it yet. lol But I think it’ll end up being nice for some larger items that wouldn’t fit right in my yard.

I don't think its possible to cook felicitous furball. Too far into the "do not contruct" zone. Might have to experiment with the different tiers of cabin though.

Wanna bet we get a house. They added 90 outdoor slots with deco mechs pretty sweet and you can bet that at one of the Fanfests they'll announce a house for Sanctuary. Look forward to it!

I'm starting to think it was only related to island sanctuary
which is disappointing considering how people have asked for years for an item increase to yards and house interiors.

I think they said they’re going to do that in the next expansion’s patches.

They said they're going to look into it. People need to realize that they never promised anything. Its a wishlist item that they hope is possible.

I doubt this is ever going to happen until they drop PS4 support. Island Sanctuary is one instance. So is the inside of a house, and so is the entire housing ward. 100 extra items in a house means 100 extra items in an instance. 10 items per yard means 300 items in an instance.

I played around a bit last night. While Cabin II visually has the smallest footprint, the footprint matches Cabin I and is the same for all 4 Cabin versions.

If you do manage to temporarily get a furnishing to place "out of bounds" in the building, it disappears a second later and an error message about furnishings have been removed from prohibited areas (or something to that effect) will display.

Basically, you'll be able to clip some items slightly into the edges of Cabin IV (more into the steps) but that's about it. If you wanted to add walls, you could use something like the Hedge Partition along the sides but it wouldn't work front or back where the flower beds are.

I can't quite get the bonfire to overlap the Furball, it still has to be a short distance away. I didn't play with the Red Brick Kitchen too much but I don't think it's quite long enough to reach when rotated. So much for Roasted Mammet.
