Do we have any idea if/when the ff15 event is coming back?

I do believe the FF13 Event ran twice before eventually the stuff from it ended up in the Mogstation... So it might end up being the same with the 15 one and in that case it's done.

But really, I feel the stuff from it should be something that's always available as the car was an easily available Multi-Seated mount that wasn't from the cash shop... The closest we currently have as an alternative is the new Blackjack mount for 4mil MGP apparently is also a 4 seater, followed by the Landerwaffe which can seat 2 and is from getting all the ShB mounts.

Don’t forget about The Big Shoe that drops from e4s, it’s also a 4-person mount if that’s what people are looking for. People can unsync clear that floor relatively easy these days after learning few key mechanics to skip majority of the fight.

I would guess they would rerun a lot of the collab events when Xbox service goes live as that would in theory being in new players and would be an easy way to add “special” content without adding any additional dev time.

FF11 has run 4 times. DQ 5 I think. Considering they added the ability to replay the 11, 15, and DQ events the last time each returned I think they intend to keep bringing them back. I guess if the stuff shows up in shop It’ll be the end of that.

They also ran the Yokai Watch event twice and even added new rewards the 2nd time because additional jobs had been added to the game since the first time.

I'd argue the big determiner of whether or not we get another FFXV collab depends on the nature of the FFXVI collab. If it's in the same vein as XV's, with a short world quest, then I'd argue it's less likely. If, however, it's closer to the Monster Hunter collab (permanent new content), then an FFXV crossover rerun would be more likely, possibly soon-ish after Dawntrail's release.

If memory serves me correctly, Yoshi-P mentioned that the Yo-Kai event is up for a possible rerun soon-ish. The FFXI event is absolutely getting a rerun sometime during Dawntrail, and Dragon Quest might be sometime during Dawntrail, however, I'd argue it's probably the least pressing of the events to rerun.

I'd have to check dates but I believe the Dragon Quest collab was run in conjunction with various things in Dragon Quest X like expansion launches.

I don't think the FFXVI collab will be permanent as the snippet of fighting Ifrit in the teaser looked like a solo instance.

It came back once without changes, then the 3rd time it had more stuff. That was great! Then the Garo event came back...

I hope they will bring it back. Playing since 2022 and i would love to get the stuff.
