Corvos is just across the sea (where alzadars legacy takes place) from thavnir in south central ilsabardYes, I do remember that being implied. IIRC it's that the ore is from Corvos which is close to (and I think elsewhere stated to be geographically similar to) Thavnair.
So if it is giantsgall or similar, it's possible that the radios have a small amount of power to protect from a single burst of tempering, but it's the dragon scales that give it lasting energy to protect you in a danger zone, or something like that.
The warding scales were mostly altered by way of some structural bolstering, they were still functionally the same thing. This was shown by Y'shtola's experiment with the nixies; they keep out the corruption of the environment just fine, but the wards themselves wouldn't last in such a foray.
Corvos is across the Corvos Narrow in the Bounty, north of Thavnair. It would make sense if they would share materials. Although Corvos is not geographically similar to Thavnair, but rather to Labyrinthos, which is explicitly said to be based on the geography and climate of Corvos.Yes, I do remember that being implied. apparently mountain dew is actually canon? i don't know what asinine sort of statement they must have made during that collab reveal, but it's amazing how little the developers seem to care about the integrity of their world if this is true.
"Mountain Dew" isn't canon. A group of Hannish alchemists made an alchemical concoctions to tame a subspecies of zu. That's it. That's what's canon.
It's pretty clear that Wyssahtyn has at-best second-hand information about this one, and has just decided to be angry before they even properly learned what they were supposed to be mad about.
The description mentions a citrus taste, so the joke is very clearly 'they made Mountain Dew', but it's not actually saying that.
I'd recommend reading the description before complaining about the description. It's on the actual website for the promotion.
Probably been said already but definitely the line from The Watcher that explained that Hydaelyn sundered Zodiark, the star, and herself. It's not even a typo because all languages across the board say that Hydaelyn sundered herself. So why did Source Hydaelyn need to send Minfilia to the First to stop the flood? Shouldn't the First's reflection of Hydaelyn as a Primal of divine light be able to mitigate or even absorb the flood into herself? It's light aether after all and she's a light based primal.
You literally posted a thread exactly about this thing ten minutes after this post. You are very clearly not ignoring it.Probably been said already but definitely the line from The Watcher that explained that Hydaelyn sundered Zodiark, the star, and herself. My theory that a lot of people just use this thread to complain about lore they don't like, rather than say parts that they actually do ignore, continues to be proven right.
