suggestion for character/gear window

Is it possible to move the camera up and down within the preview window? or change the character pose, or make it full screen, or at least have a different background? Anything would be better than what we have now.
The problem I have with it is, when I try on an axe for example, my character holds it in such a way where I can only see the thin side of the weapon and I can’t see anything else since the camera only goes left/right.
I know it’s not a big deal to a lot of people, but it’s really irritating sometimes.

You can move your character around in the window with right click I believe.

He does have a point though, it's very difficult to have certain weapons fit entirely into the preview. I get this a lot with RDM's rapiers.
You can move the camera, but that won't let you see the whole picture, even fully zoomed out it can be hard to make everything fit. I have the window scaled up to its maximum, and I still wish it could get bigger.
