. Saying that Blue Mage HAS to learn spells from battle when even in this game it isn't true is being deceitful.
And learning spells isn't hard either, so aside from plaza AFK'ers who complain about having to leave the the city if they want to learn spells, lts not asking a lot to put in some investment if someone wants to actually play an Iconic Final Fantasy Job.

so you one of the many that want it in normal content but can't seem to realize that the way it currently is literally breaks any and all content it currently can't get into. i mean if you want devs to put it as a regular dps then get ready for alot of changes that will turn it to just another boring dps

Let's not be facetious and pretend that the only way to fight boring job design is Limited Jobs when real jobs were previously in a better spot.

i mean i have to ask what does the community as a whole want because im seeing "oh herp derp give me a deep dungeon", "oh herp derp let me use it in all content as it is now". like what is it because one of those would be farmed majorly in a week then forgotten and the other would make it a normal class and lose what makes it good as it is now.

not to mention the dev time that would need to be taken on the deep dungeon would push back anything they might be working on.

having a majority of spells learned from totems wouldnt really feel like blu

and now the issue you have is quality control, you have issues in pf already but since its a limited job what can you do, self filter

if it was a for real job? without the quality control? people in pf would be furious and more than anything youd just have people bar blus from pf parties anyways just to lesten the chance of someone really mucking it up
