ok, I can understand why you put the price of it so high on the stuff.. but still big ouch on the wallet XD. 375-450 is a little more reasonable still as crafters need to work for it (which I don't mind) but 500 for one piece ouch on the wallet due to how many you need to craft a piece so as low as 2 or up to 4-5 ish (I forgot which pieces needed that many.) Do you folks think the price is reasonable or a little high? don't get me wrong I got most of the main hand tools for most of my crafters and gathering jobs so far. just looking for some input...

you have 4 months to make the gear. no one says you have to make it right away. you can gather the materials over time.

Relic grind starts in about 2 months. Still plenty of time to get what you need.

The new gear only costs a lot if you crafted and melded on Day 1. Material prices have dropped. Materia prices have also dropped, but a few are still high (for now).

I don't think the purple/white scrip costs of the new gear was unreasonable. If anything, I was grateful it didn't require running a tribe quest to get them.

I wouldn't mind a tribe quest to be honest since those are worth running anyway for other rewards and you can still take your time since you don't need the set until 6.4. Tribe quests are more interesting than scrip grind.

The cost is fine since scrip grind is very easy, just send retainers for the mats and pop a macro while you're semi-afk, but it's still over 50000 scrips for a full set + tools and incredibly boring.

I have an alt who is still in L80s, she gathers just fine for 81- 90 nodes.

She hasn't finished 6.0 so no gathering books though.

I still have pactmaker's tools and 560 gloves and pants. Gathering 3554, Perception 3861. I need just a bit more perception to be able to max 3 star collectables, maxed on all 2 star nodes.
