This, I made an alt and got myself a medium. If it's content you really need to continue playing, you must make some compromise.Come to Halicarnassus, Maduin or Marilith. We have cookies.
Oh, and we also have lots of available house plots. If ownership of a house is truly that important to you, the free transfer will be more than worth it.
If you're not willing to transfer, then a house isn't as important to you as you think.
Same, I moved an alt over to Hali and was able to get a small house there, though I am going to let it auto-demolish since I was lucky and grabbed a medium on my main.
Go to another server, why not bid on a small house first? higher chance? If all you do is bidding on a medium or large you will lose and if all you play for is decorating houses, then I would suggest playing a game that is fully dedicated to that.I have lost every clicking battle. And have lost every lottery result. Twice now I've lost to a 50/50 result, the new lots just got all filled and will only be harder now. I've waited years for a house in this game. I've played since 2.0 but back then housing was boring and not exclusive. THIS NEEDS A PERMANENT OVERALL FIX BEFORE 7.0
I CAN'T CONTINUE PLAYING.
And yes, this is that important to me. The housing, decorating, it's very important end game content. It's one of the only things to spend gil on. It's horrible to feel locked out of.
Stop bidding on plum plots if your goal is decoration - Your on Zalera which is the LEAST competitive crystal World perhaps second to Goblin.I have lost every clicking battle. This past round of lottery shows that over 40 Goblet plots remained with 0 bids. It would have been possible to ensure a virtually guaranteed house in the first round in Zalera if you had waited til near the end and chosen a low demand Goblet plot. It is no longer possible to get a guaranteed house for the second round, but the odds will still be far better than on a regular day - hopefully similar odds to the empyreum launch.
Speaking of finding an FC...Yes, the new servers (other than Seraph) on Dynamis still have a lot of housing. You can easily find an FC there, make new friends and keep up with your old ones with DC travel. And achieve house ownership. (Unless you're after prime plots, then I have bad news for ya...)
SHIVA on Maduin would love to have you OP. I've personally gifted my FC mates houses in shirogane and lav beds with guaranteed bids.
No one is left behind because data center travel exists. You can visit as much as you want, it's not a "you can only data center travel once a week" type system. The more socially active FCs also tend to have Discords so you can be in constant touch (or at least as much as you want) that way then data center travel when the FC is holding an event.Conveniently forgets that by doing a server transfer, you leave your FC and friends behind. Sure you can visit from time to time but it’s not exactly the same. Not everyone wants that. I did because I wanted a medium and got it. Now trying to upgrade for a Large.
But again, it’s not an easy decision especially if you’ve been on the server for a while with friends.
Also what face do you use on your Elezen, looks great.
In the end, the player has to decide if having a house is worth the small inconvenience of having to data center travel to play with friends/FC on their old world. The OP sounds like one who would find it worth it.
When you’re not a direct member of the FC and left for housing, things tend to go quiet. It’s just not the same, world travel or not.No one is left behind because data center travel exists. I still have contacts with a few friends but, once you’re out, outside of close friendships it’s radio silence.
