40 mil for a small doesn't seem reasonable given that nobody wants smalls and there's virtually always a small free in any ward on a non-congested server. You'd turn wards into dead zones overnight.

But given how hotly contested Larges and even Mediums are...

Small: 10 mil
Medium: 40 mil
Large: 200 mil

Sounds about right, and more or less reflects the difference in floor scale.

I also think Larges should be FC only, and have a higher restriction of 10 members. This excludes single-player shell FC's, they'd need at least two other characters form other player/s involved.

I like that jump from 40m to 200m. Trying to exclude people for better odds or do you want people to funnel more into RMT? Slapping a price tag like that on something people want is just going to resort to people taking drastic measures to get it.

Also, it won't remove single player FCs as there are people who have more than one account and copy of the game. I can also just make 8 chars and scoop 2 off a friend with them never using the FC at all. Will still be a single player FC.

I can understand people wanting specific plots but yeah....kind of is a self-inflicted problem if the need for said plot is greater than just having a house. Couldn't be me.

I started with a small that had a view I didn't hate and went for a relocation recently into something more ideal in Goblet (cause I actually enjoy Goblet lmao). My point was just to get a house and I'd upgrade over time when it was smart to do so. Been working out so far, more people should try it. If it's smart to do so when we get new wards, I'll try rolling for a large but it's not something I'm going to stress over either.

The people who own Larges already have this kind of money, and I'm not one of them, I'm happy with my small and I wouldn't even be able to afford 40m for the Medium via my suggestion anyway. I have literally priced myself out of my own suggested system, because I think it's fairer.

By forcing more than 8 players (should even be active players, that have been online in the past x days) that forces those who would circumvent this system to pay for two subscriptions per house instead of one. That alone is halving the problem right away.
Better yet, is they should be able to discern characters owned by a single account, so that it requires 8+ unique accounts per FC. If you have alts in an FC, it should be able to recognise that they're all the same account and only count it as 1 character.

There's literally over 1000 mediums open across all of Dynamis and at least 200 larges. I just checked Paissa lol.

I really struggle to take these threads seriously when the supply is there but people act like it isn't. If you don't want to move then fair enough but stop pretending the plots just don't exist.

I checked again for larges and there are still hundreds in just Hali alone. Lmao. Jesus.

If people want to stay with their friends and not move to an underpopulated server then fair enough but again, really need to stop acting like the plots just don't exist. They exist lmao.

I don't disagree with you... I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

People should absolutely take what is available. Hundreds of smalls are available, much fewer mediums and larges are available. Thus the system should encourage smalls over mediums and larges.

I'm not complaining from a personal point of view. I'm brainstorming a system that's more fair for everyone.

Now I have people screaming at me that my suggestion is too expensive and should be more accessible, and others screaming at me that everyone already has a chance at what they want and it's ok that people circumvent the system. It's like... there's no pleasing people.

More fair for everyone is SE fixes the supply issue on every server. Until that happens (if ever) lottery is about the most fair for everyone that it is going to get.

Edit: Also SE needs to close their loopholes that have existed and everyone has known about for almost a year.
