    Its stories like this that absolutely make me go "excuse me?" To the people advocating for the old system. How much worse it stung that you wasted so much of your time and effort just to swiped away by another just because they happen to be at the right time. I cant imagine a worse feeling as such.

    Don't get me wrong I think the lottery is heather and better than the old system just bc it's more convenient. That said let's not kid ourselves here, the feeling is still the same when you lose. The lottery does nothing to make losing better bc its all up to rng(about like the old system was) and just like the old system you still have to watch the winner enjoy themselves bc they had better luck than you since the game makes you go back to the house to get your gil back. It also sucks for those who may one-day want to upgrade or move to a better/nicer-looking area bc all areas in this game are not created equal. Some may love the goblet and more power to them but Im one of the ppl who hates it with every fiber of my bring. So much so that I'm looking to downgrade my house just so I can be in an area I enjoy more. Anyway back on topic both systems are feelbad systems, it's just that one is more convenient than the other.

    What kind of system that would allow a "less painful feeling" for the one that loses? Because we all know it is an impossibility that all the players in this game to get their own house, so there will *always* be someone that loses no matter what system they are using. there will *always* be someone that's gonna feel bad because they didn't get what they want.

    Curious, what would you suggest? What kind of system that would give everyone a fancy-dory-kumbaya-happy feeling even when they lose?

    Well for one thing make apartments better by making them upgradable to med to large floor plans and add a balcony that uses the skybox of the area you have the apartment in. That would be a start but I also would like IH so everyone has a house to choose what they want with it. I know IH would be a lot of work for the dev team but I rather they spend time and money on that than bid aid fixes like the lottery system and adding 5 to 10 wards per expac. If we can have IH then at least make the apartment as close to having a house as possible. You are right no system with the current ward system will feel good and that is why I don't like any of the systems I have done and rather them focus on other opinions for housing. As always the biggest issue in 14 is the supply but they havent done nothing to help fix that issue other than adding few wards each expac that get filled up within few cycles of the lottery.
