Why have any content that requires time then?I'm sure this idea will go over well with the crowd that works, has a family, obligations outside of the game, etc.
Ya know, the majority?
I no life this game and don't think I deserve a house more than the next person, nor should my odds be weighted heavier just because I'm fortunate enough to have time to dedicate because my irl situation is accommodating.
They have irl things to do! Just give them free stuff!

Because people like to play the game when they can and not need to schedule 20 hours of clicking just to have a chance to have a house.
"Well if you don't want to click on one thing in a static area for 2 days straight, why are you even PLAYING an MMO? Might as well just instantly be at level cap with everything and be given a cliffs notes of the story!"
... Really?

That wasn't even what was being discussed, LOL.Because people like to play the game when they can and not need to schedule 20 hours of clicking just to have a chance to have a house.

that was exactly what was being discussed. The old system had some "influence" in that you could have a better chance if you stood there clicking forever. People with actual things to do who want to play the game don't mind there being time investment if they can make the call as to when that time is spent and not have to worry about it being "optimal".
