Because that's ironically what FF1 was. The devs' electronic version of a DnD game. In all its incredibly glitchy glory.

We're talking about a country whose spin on Buddhism involves looking at a woman and calling them "downgrades" and "Blood Impurities", which on its own goes against what Buddhism is all about.
We're talking about a country whose ethnic background involves what's now modern Korea, yet Koreans were considered barbarians until very, stupidly recently.

No, it most certainly is not a race/ethnicity. It is most certainly a religion.
An Indian can choose to stop practicing Hinduism any time he wishes but he can't stop being Indian no matter how hard he tries. For that matter a white or black man or any other non-Indian can choose to practice Hinduism if he wishes and that's fine too. There are also many other religions represented in India besides Hinduism. Sikh's and Jains make up a large portion of India's population and they also have sizeable number of Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists.
You know nothing of the Indian sub-continent or it's peoples and you're a smarmy little Trollafel trying to get a rise out of people. I strongly doubt you're actually Hindu or Indian or even living in India. Heck off.

I really don't get the point of this post. But ff twists its own versions of all the religious figures and I think its bad ass. Especially brynhildr who turns into a flaming hot rod

Nagas were in the first final fantasy created in 1987, Blizzard wasn’t even founded until 1991.

If anything, Blizzard has been copying Square since day 1.

A lot of Blizzard's early Warcraft art was heavily based on Warhammer. Their nagas are more directly copied from Snakemen.
