He only had concept art to work with when he did the original soundtrack, thus he wishes he could redo the soundtrack now that the game is actually produced lol. So while it's not all bad, it's not all that great either, which is why he'd want to redo it now that he actually has something to work with.

I really did like how the opening menu really got you into the game in FFXI, I would be happy with something of the sort in this game, but I won't care too much if we don't get it either.

And yes, POL was terrible.

No need epic music on FF online, imho: just need FF classic ones. FFXIV has too much orchestral and rock tracks.

Err.. that theme has been in most games in the series since FF1. Usually the opening or credits. It's fitting that it's in the character creation in this one.

You see the log in screen for all of 30 seconds. I say leave it alone and PLEASE don't bring anything from XI to it! POL was terrible and XIV is already turning into something way better than XI ever was.

You seen XI's login for all of 10 seconds as well, yet they still added that feature, but if you enjoy the plain white screen more power to you.

I don't mind this one bit. He's done a lot of tracks for XI and a lot of those tracks stay close to me dearly. I love re-listening to them so much! I think he should make some tracks for this game, I would totally love it.

I am also down for Uematsu-Mizuta collaborations as well.
