    Treasure Goblin

    Can we get a Treasure Goblin that spawn randomly spawn with a group of adds in dungeons. The Treasure Goblin would drop random personal loot for each player to pick up.

    Maybe make the Treasure Goblin have a rank and tier level depending on how many times a player has killed the Goblin. So if a player in the group has killed the highest amount of treasure goblins, that high ranking goblin will spawn for the group and all would enjoy the personal loot from that high ranking goblin

    Also change the visual appearance of the Treasure Goblin based on the tier version of that Goblin.

    Maybe have 5 different tiers of goblins with each getting beefier and angrier because the Treasure Goblin Society beefing up its security due to adventures hunting them in dungeons. If possible have theme Treasure Goblins for different dungeons. Maybe even have rare Treasure Goblins like a Namazu dressed like a Treasure Goblin.

    Perhaps add a Treasure Goblin hunting society where the tokens you bring back can be exchanged for powerful multipliers for more loot or items.

    Please let it all be personal loot and not Need/Greed/Pass

    The treasure map dungeons already have a few different forms of "treasure goblin" so they are already ni the game, just not in the regular dungeons. They also don't drop gear.

    It sounds like you're really just looking for an increase to the loot drops in dungeons. This isn't an ARPG like the Diablo series where the entire reason for the crazy amount of loot drops is that they're very random in nature with most items amounting to nothing more than trash to the player. In addition, we get tomestones for completing content that allow us to purchase gear of our choice on top of the random boss and chests drops the dungeons have.

    I don't see SE ever changing the loot system in standard dungeons to provide what you're asking for. If you're after the dopamine rush that comes from lots of treasure dropping, treasure maps would be the way to go.

    No not Diablo or extra loot, just a fun activity for regular dungeon. Having something to grow while doing a dungeon is fun. Investing in that growth would be fun. Gets people to run dungeons besides doing tomes.

    My concern would be what would happen if the treasure goblin appeared and the party failed to catch it. In a roulette, with random people, there might be some unsavory discussion like shouting to the party and blaming newbies.


    They worked so hard to make the game more inviting to players, it would really be bothersome if they added something that would make people to get pissed at other people.

    Did you even noticed that there was an actual "treasure goblin" in Qarn? It's a stone head that you can kill at some points in the dungeon. I remember it used to drop a chest. If you missed them the first time, they would run off to another part of the dungeon ahead and you could kill it there. I think it could run off again to a later part of the dungeon too, but the thing didn't regenerated HP so it was hard to not kill it.


    Maybe if it was like that it wouldn't cause too much friction among players. But who knows?
