the housing system in xiv as a whole needs to be completely redone ala how ARR was to 1.0, should have been wards for FC housing then everyone gets an instance where they can upgrade the house over time, i was bidding on a medium with only 3 people and lost, its disheartening and until players start speaking with there wallets by unsubbing i doubt anything major will change, i might be done with this game im not sure, its to the point i only even care about it when there new content or an expac. id even pay irl money for a house at this point i do not care. maybe that could solve it too have 3 wards for mogstation housing something like $15 for small $25 for medium and $35 for large would work as an example

I sympathize with the frustration and wish SE would scrap adding to wards and go with an instanced housing system so it is available to everyone.

I'll take lottery over first come first serve with random hidden timers and relocators getting an unfair advantage any day as those were our options since SE isn't scrapping the system.
