Fashion Mounts

What if Fashion Mounts were also a thing? Here’s what I brainstormed on this idea.

Fashion Mounts would:

• be usable in the same areas Fashion Accessories can be used in;
• be unable to fly;
• give no bonus to your character’s movement speed (avoids overuse in towns);


Examples:

Quad Roller Skates :

• Emote : Shuffle (usable when stationary)

Rollerblades :

• Emote : Freestyle (or Slalom) (useable when moving)

Skateboards :

• Jumping animations change to an Ollie
• Emote : Kickflip (useable when stationary or moving)

Town Bicycle :

• 2-seater
• Option to put a minion in the front basket
• Emote : Ring bell (with little music notes VFX)

Shared Umbrella :

• 2-seater
• Emote : Sideways Conversation (useable if both “seats” are occupied)
• Can select the desired umbrella among the Fashion Accessories you already posess
• Turns off weapon display during use

Caveats to the Fashion Mount idea :

• Since these mounts would be "physically powered" by our WoLs, the devs would probably want to animate a unique “pivot” and “idle” animation for each.
  
• The wheels on some of these could be made out of aether (roller skating on grass/dirt/snow isn’t ideal).
  
• The Roller Skates/Blades should replace your currently equipped boots so we could have different looking ones.
  
• Race height constraints :
  --- Town Bicycle : If the race pairing’s height difference calls for it, its bicycle's owner retains control, but the taller race becomes the pedaler and the bike changes size accordingly while the smaller race sits on the cargo rack.
  --- Shared Umbrella : If the race pairing’s height difference calls for it, the owner of the umbrella retains control, and the umbrella goes in the hand of the taller race.
  
• An option could be added to disable skates and skateboards for people who don't want to see them (people using them would appear to be on foot with their emotes not showing for you).

P.S.: What else do you think could be made into “Fashion Mounts”? Do you think the community would be on board with this idea? Hopefully it wasn’t posted before.

i really dont see shared umbrella worked as a mount, it's better if its an idle animation. other than that, it's perfect

I'm sure they could work something out. Minions already follow you pretty closely after all. They could treat the character riding pillion sort of like a minion but with a very close max distance and the anchor point to the "driver's" left side.

But on topic I've always wanted a pool floatie or an inner tube in game.

I forget.., wasn't boards mentioned somewhere, or was I mistaking something from somewhere.., I recall someone being into them as well from the devs..,

as for the mounts in question..,
not sure about the Skates/Blades, but that mount with two wheels on fire exists so it ain't out of place..,[just give is a variety of movements with them, Basic/Unspired/excessive/____/_____/___/etc. and I'll just have to see if I can bother to use them or not] [ps: they can simply be attachments to the footwear, since it's not completely necessary to replace, but with all the options it may just needs be Magical/tinted with transparent Aether]

Bicycles are easy add, specially if there us ever another island with a more extensive beach or solid even land.(may as well add Larger tri/four wheeled all terrains at that point, with two<->four seats.)

when I see the umbrella/parasoul<intentional> I imagine something akin to the Pod Mount +/- the Bomb "Palanquin" mount. though I'd imagine you launching just a bit higher as to give a slow glide down illusion when idle or in movement.[Mary much..,] question becomes if two+ seater.., will the handle offer support as a seat, invisible platform of aether underfoot. or simply have your passenger grab on to you as they can while you control your movement with the Umbrella/Parasoul.
