The highest ilvl ones with crit are the Manderville and Savage weapons.
Why do both the Tomestone and the new Extreme Trial have to have DET/PIE?
Can we not just get Alternatives!?

SE has put BiS stats on extreme weapons since at least Heavensward. Except healers apparently. Maybe they think healers value Piety.![]()
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

What's piety?
:P
How pietyful...
while I personally prefer PIE, I would -really- enjoy not having DET shoved down my throat on every healer gear almost.
even when we do get CRIT.. it comes with.. DET
I suppose PIE does give some consistency with getting you somewhat more MP... But the least MP efficient healer feels to be SGE, and even with it MP is not really that big of an issue... Spell Speed or Crit would definitely be more useful.
DET is one of those stats where you really can't go too wrong with getting more of it, as it just makes you do more damage and healing.

I used to think that too. But then I saw a layout of how the numbers change based on how much of each stat you were running (wish I could track that down again) and unless they changed how it works, DET was one of the mostly useless stats there was. unless you are min/maxing the changes even with a fair amount of DET were... minimal at best. PIE at least gives you a bit faster regen per tick, DET required a massive amount just to add .0x of a percentage point of damage.
so, for each 14 points of DET, you get a higher .001 added to your damage multiplyer, and I guess maybe the same amount for healing. doesnt seem all that useful really

that's still more useful than piety. once you don't zero out in a fight, more piety adds absolutely nothingI used to think that too. I suppose it depends on viewpoint, I find more regen better than .001 additions on to my healing or damage. especially if you are running with groups that require a lot of healing or rezzes.
