Greetings Karistotle,

If you are still having trouble with these crashes, I would recommend uninstalling the game from your D: drive and reinstalling it onto your C: drive (if possible). Another good place to start is by performing a clean boot of the PC to ensure that the game is not conflicting with any other programs that you may have running in the background. To do this, you would need to open your Task Manager and locate the 'Start Up' tab under 'More details'. Once there, disable all applications listed, restart the PC, and run the game as an administrator. Lastly, it might also help to make sure that any anti-virus software on the PC either have the appropriate exceptions made for FINAL FANTASY XIV or are temporarily disabled as your testing this out.

I hope this helps! Thank you for posting in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support Forums!
