Question On Playing FF14 On A System That Has Only Base Game Registered

Basically, I currently play on PS4, which has all expansions registered, and also have some jobs at 60+. If something happens to my PS4, what will happen if I try to play on PC, which only has ARR+HW registered. Will I not be able to play at all? Or will I simply be synced down to 60 and not have access to Red Mage, Samurai, Dancer, Gunbreaker, Reaper, and Sage, as well as any other Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker content? I'm sorry if my wording is confusing.

You'll lose access to Stormblood+ content and be synced down to level 60. Make sure you log out in a level -60 accessible area, otherwise you might run into complications. If you haven't, then try switching Data Centers (It'll log you into your starting zone, i.e. Ul'dah, New Gridania, or Limsa Lominsa) and then you can switch back and safely play.

Oh ok, thanks for the answer. Curious, what would happen if I try to play a Stormblood job like Red Mage? Will I not be able to access it, or will I be able to and simply not be able to access its job quests?

You will be able to play Redmage, but if its level 60 or more, you will not earn experience points on PC until you add the expansion packs for PC version.

You will not have access to the Redmage Job quests as its expansion content.

So you could just login to PS4 and level up and do Job quests, and switch to PC and just play, just remember you can't logout in any area past Heavensward on PS4 and then try to login on PC, it will not allow you to, so logout in a starter city as mentioned above to get around that limitation.
