    ...the game remember the last equipment for that job!

    Let me see... I have 7 class lvl 50 + 7 jobs lvl 50 = 14 x 11(?) slots... oh, and I have the craft jobs too!
    Sorry, but after 2 years I am REALLY TIRED to create macros only for changing the equipment...

    It's called mannequin system, in the UI box.

    (Edit: Do note the post is somewhat outdated and I cannot remember for the life of me what they've said regarding that but this thread has a guy keeping tabs on promises)
