I would like them to revamp the entire ilvl scaling system. Either has a better algorithm in place to allow content to be more challenging or remake the code. I feel the scaling factor ruins some aspects because even if you are 20 ilvls above content scaling doesn't fully make you match the intended difficulty. I would also expand this into dungeons and say don't allow people to be 2 levels higher than the dungeon and then sync....make it match to maintain that difficulty that was intended. It's ok to be a little better thanks to gear scaling but a walk in the park shouldn't happen.

Although I partially agree, if 20 item levels didn't make you significantly more powerful then it would make you question the point of getting better gear. Gear progression is important, but only when the expansion is current and once it's the previous expansion, everything could just be synced close to or at minimum to keep it fun. If a new player has friends or social connections, they tell them to get poetic gear so there is no gear progression in previous expansions.

A few things:::

1. Mail anyone on any server, (even if it still is limited to friends, would love to mail my outer server friends even if I need to travel to their server, )

2. Ease of gearing alt jobs. As of right now, I have healer geared (Getting my SCH book this week cause I am last one in my static without a wep) and I have geared BLM Minus a few upgrades and a wep.

While now that the alliance raid can net one upgrade a week and Nuts can as well. I think there could be, a slight adjustment to the system to upgrade. Maybe unlock book drops? (like for the current tier, let books be uncapped by 6.3 and then unlock all gear by 6.38 or something) especially with an ultimate around the corner, would help.

3. Add a system in a duty where, if a member leaves, can vote for a party member to swap to the leaving class, There have been Mentor EXs I have gotten into that a Tank/Healer leaves and I leave and try to re-que as said missing role. It would be helpful and easier to just swap in duty.

4. Add skill/spell pose options within /gpose, let me cast fire IV within Limsa and Gpose about it lol..\

5. Allow us to /chairsit anywhere, on ledges, steps, cliffs, I know its possible using... [REDACTED tool] but would be cool if I can use the chair sitting animations on ledges and such.

The ability to glamor clothing from any job outside of the AF gear...

Been playing for around 8 years now...been asking for this just as long.

Also, having skills scale down to low level dungeons instead of just losing them all together. Going back to sastasha and losing your WHOLE kit pretty much is mind-numbing.

This is meant to be a fun thread not to shoot down ideas one does not agree with. It is cool to ask someone to expand and flesh out the idea. Criticism is cool but I am do not think we should outright say this is a bad idea no thank you as a blanket statement.
