Let me put it this way. We have the «Z» title. My opinion of it is... it looks cool :| It's just a letter, but idk it looks cool. And it's not going to stop looking cool just because a certain eurasian country is using the letter as propaganda symbol against another country. So if you use the «Z» title, my opinion of you is "huh, that person also likes the letter Z. Neat.". I'd only really think you sucked if you opened your mouth and started spewing nonsense.

Same for the Garlean stuff. I'm not against it being there. But people insisting so much that they want it makes me wonder "why do you want something that's so associated to bad guys and genocidal maniacs so much? xD"

Let's just forget for a moment the fact that, as Joven already said, Garlemald just have cool armors.
People can like obvious villains factions for many reasons, it doesn't mean that they endorse their political ideology.
Garlemald were once underdogs born in a harsh environment who couldn't even manipulate aether in a world where it gives you a massive advantage. The fact they grew up to be a powerful nation is inspiring to some. And we met many Garlean characters who were reasonable or presented as sympathetic.
Classic Disney villains have been popular over the years for many similar reasons. They're the underdogs, they're usually the force working against the establishment, they're full of personality. For some, it makes them much more relatable and sympathetic than heroes, despite the brother killing and puppies skinning part. Our relationship with stories isn't rational and it isn't supposed to be.

Meiji aesthetic is one of the best around and should be more common.

Just to point this out. I showed my first post to a German man. His immediate reaction was to laugh. And I laughed with him. You're acting like I'm incapable of telling crap apart. But guess what, he got confused with what you wrote right after. He even wondered if you weren't taking it too far. I prefer Heian era, because I really like how traditional and old fashioned Kimonos look. The Meiji era has too many western notes for me. Plus, in Heian they were so frilly with their fashion. You think victorian protocols and love poems were corny and complicated? In Heian, if you had a sleeve longer than you should, it was immediately seen as indecent and scandalous. It was hilarious.

My first two answers on this topic were just one-liners and I thought I ought to be a little more constructive on the subject as I tried to give as complete and genuine of an answer as I could to your question "why do you people would want things associated with villains"? (not just for you, but because I've seen many people feigning "concern" about "problematic" views for the most stupid stuff) Maybe I missed the intent of your question, maybe it just wasn't a good post at all but there's no way it warranted such a reaction.
If I had known it would make you tilted to the point of ranting about me wanting trophies and the moral high ground I just wouldn't have bothered with it.
