There is a mod where it's not only dyeable, but in separate pieces. When modders are more competent than the mog creators, there's a problem.
I used to make hair CC for the sims 4. Let me tell you, even when working with a game that has hair physics it's... a doozy, at best, to get long hair to behave like long hair. Eventually I got lazy and just rigged it so that if it went over the shoulders and boobs it would move in three pieces (Shoulder piece moves with shoulder, boob piece moves with boob, below boob moves away from body if leaning forward) and the back moved in three as well (shoulder, upper back, lower back). The fact that many modders don't bother properly weighting the extremely long custom hairstyles either also probably says something about how time consuming / difficult it is to get long hair like that to look and behave in an even remotely natural way.
Gaia's exact hair is probably too cumbersome as it is, but I would love an 'inspired-by'-version that's a similar style and at a decently long length they can manage, like Great Lengths or some of the Femroe or F/Viera styles.
Honestly seeing this myself it's ended up being a pass for the reasons that others have already said.
1) No hair. Said it before and will say it again, they should just bite the bullet and sell some long hairstyles and at the same time add the ability to have a 2nd "tied up" hairstyle or ponytail that can be toggled like /visor. Solves the problem of clipping with certain armours as well.
2) Set is a single piece, basically a body replacement. Honestly they probably could've broken it into 3 pieces (mod from years ago actually has it done this way) but that's up to the devs whether they want to do this or not.
I really wanted those damn boots but yep, the one piece thing really bothers me.
It should have come with Gaia's hairstyle and lips. A huge disappointment.
We didn't get Ryne's hairstyle with her outfit, nor Gotestu's with his, so this doesn't surpise me. SE is very wishy washy with that for whatever reason.
I wish it were not gender-locked, set to be one-piece and undyeable. Some customizability would be nice if they're charging money for an outfit.
Yes, I know such is the case with a lot of NPC outfits but would like to reiterate this nonetheless.

Mass people will buy anyways in fact whatever they release in MOG store.
That's why SE keeps doing it, even if they put this exact outfit for 20-30 usd
