Gaia's Outfit on Mogstation

Easy solution, do Eden's Promise savage unsynced. The healer/caster outfit looks almost the same, it is dyeable, comes in 5 different pieces and you don't have to pay extra for it.

Indeed, the Gaia inspired caster/healer sets from E12S are way prettier than this. They look natural on our characters and the gloves and tights can be paired with tons of outfits. Downside: the male sets suck; Gaia's outfit is gender locked anyway, though. The only part of the set I feel is seriously lacking in comparison to Gaia's real clothing are the boots, but there are other boots in the game that can fill this niche if folks really care, like various Copied Factory short booties or the Viera sandals if you're a Viera.

While Gaia's attire is nice, I think people mostly wanted her shoes.

Yeah, I remembered that the Edenmorn gear just had flat boots right after I posted it.
But since you can't wear those without wearing the entire outfit I still think you're better off just farming that gearset.

Now if we would've gotten her hairstyle I might have considered it, and the outfit would've just been rotting on one of my retainers like Minfilia's does, because god knows we could use more decent long hairstyles.
But as it is this is definitely an easy pass.

I think if any part of the outfit could've feasibly been a separate piece it would've been the shoes, but since it was made as a 1-piece I guess they didn't feel like editing the stockings all the way down to the ankles and making a separate shoe.

I said it in another thread but I'm mostly disappointed we didn't get the hair as well and worried that they'll release it later at a jacked up price. ( ´△｀)

The only way to make them stop single set, undyable bullshit is stop buying these overpriced items. And any other items. They don't want to put in the effort so why should we?

There's no precedence for them only adding a hairstyle on its own to the online shop, so for now I think we're safe from this. If they ever do figure out the technology to make items like Gaia's style work in a functional way I wouldn't be opposed to them adding the hair to the shop for a 5-7$ charge. That's still significantly better than it being packed for 15$ with an entire outfit I'll never use.

Outfit is a pass entirely because it's not in pieces and no hairstyle. Ryne's Outfit was in pieces. This is just lazy on their part.

Lack of being dyable also hurts it's glamour options. It's a rather tough sell if the only nice parts of the outfit are the legs and feet.

Gaia's hair would have been perfect for players that want a long hairstyle but the Hrothgar/Viera curse strikes again.

I'm convinced that they are only going to add short hair only for the rest of the MMO's life.
