We didn't get Ryne's hairstyle with her outfit, nor Gotestu's with his, so this doesn't surpise me. SE is very wishy washy with that for whatever reason.

I wish it were not gender-locked, set to be one-piece and undyeable. Some customizability would be nice if they're charging money for an outfit.
Yes, I know such is the case with a lot of NPC outfits but would like to reiterate this nonetheless.

Mass people will buy anyways in fact whatever they release in MOG store.
That's why SE keeps doing it, even if they put this exact outfit for 20-30 usd
It should be more expensive than that. Just to see when people will say "okay this is enough"
Although by then, it will be too late.

Tbh, price really won't matter to some just because of how much disposable income they have. Taking me as an example, I used to drop hundreds on a certain clothing based game (only reason I stopped was because it got boring overtime), so dropping $12 on an outfit here is like....not a big deal. However, there are people who spend way more than I ever could and $12 to them is a joke price to pay (like the people who spend thousands on Genshin every month type whale).
As long as whales exist and want to spend their money on stuff in video games (which is their right to do as it is their income and they ultimately can use it however they wish), hiking up a price isn't going to change much outside of limit who can buy it and at that point whales will just carry sales like they do in any other game.

And yet I till want it to be more expensive. Because why not, if it's 30 or 50 it doesn't matter, whales will buy them. Besides, I do like how hypocritical it gets when other games do the same thing, and people rightfully attack them for their ways of cashing on a game that they already pay for.Tbh, price really won't matter to some just because of how much disposable income they have. But people will continue to buy it regardless.
But somehow this game does the same thing and everything's fine? Well okay, let's make it more expensive. Whales will still spend in the octilions but now there will be backlash. Not that it will matter of course, the damage's done. And I HIGHLY doubt my occasional purchases were a big factor into this.
It's only funny to me, because when it was new and dandy I did say - somewhere, I dunno, it's probably buried in my posts, too lazy to go search - that the cash shop might get out of hand and they might sell things unavailable elsewhere.
And now all I can say, is what we say here in my country: "You wanted the bike, now ride it"

I mean, the perspective of them doing the same thing depends on where you're coming from. I personally consider them to be cheap compared to the games I've played. One in particular I will always remember because they offered costume rentals for $25 and to outright buy it was $65-75. For the record, it was a F2P game.Yet Is till want it to be more expensive. Because I do like how hypocritical it gets when other games do the same thing, and people rightfully attack them for their ways.

So to me, $12 for an outfit is a steal.
Again, the perspective is going to be based on what you personally have experienced and ultimately all views are valid. If you come from a game where everything is free and a cash shop doesn't exist then its understandable that you'd have a negative view on it. Just, for people like me who have engaged with way worse costs, we have positive views on it.
Just my opinion but if 14 ever went F2P, I would not be shocked at all if Mog prices skyrocket to account for the lack of income from subs or if more predatory practices were put in place (like gacha like events or lootboxes for exclusive outfits).

i like these threads because you get to see people get a taste of what it's like to be one of the races that square doesn't care for; a few of whom i have vivid memories telling viera, hroths and even roes or au ra to stop complaining or otherwise defend square's utterly bonkers decisions.
it's also great because it's not like each 3D model is carefully and painstakingly handcrafted for each individual person buying it. like... you fix it once and then you sell it for 10, 20 bucks for the next 5-10 years without any more work needing to go into it. like, what's so hard about putting in a modicum of effort now?
anyway. i heard my bag of microwave popcorn just beep so please continue.
It took SE years to fix the Hrothgar fantasia problem, so this fiasco doesn't surprise me in the slightest.i like these threads because you get to see people get a taste of what it's like to be one of the races that square doesn't care for; a few of whom i have vivid memories telling viera, hroths and even roes or au ra to stop complaining or otherwise defend square's utterly bonkers decisions.

100% agreed. If it doesn't sink in this time that some things need to change, eventually it will reach a boiling point so long as this continues.i like these threads because you get to see people get a taste of what it's like to be one of the races that square doesn't care for; a few of whom i have vivid memories telling viera, hroths and even roes or au ra to stop complaining or otherwise defend square's utterly bonkers decisions.
