FFXIV specifically will not register left and right triggers at the same time

As title says, I've tested this with other games, but I specifically cannot use both triggers at once. This issue started after the hotfix, and was perfectly fine before. I'm not entirely sure what could be causing this. I do use a third party made xbox controller, so that may have something to do with it, but it wasn't until the hotfix that this started happening.

Edit: I have discovered likely why it happened. This controller can load in several different modes for different devices, and apparently it was loading in xbox 360 mode, which seems to have issues with both triggers working at once for some reason I barely understand. Now it's suddenly loading as a switch controller and it's fine. Weirdest thing.
