If that was the case, are you saying FF14 staff and crew cares more about money than player experience? That would seem very contrary to what they've stated as a company, especially Yoshi P's stance on character choice and experience.

That sounds very greedy.

It also seems flawed in reason since they advertise fine for themselves on their launcher and the website. Why do I need other player's glams to see that?

To turn everyone's glamour's off except mine. I just want to see my glamour, for everyone else, i just want to see their baseline gear.

This option only affects my gameplay experience, and there is already baseline models and armor in the game.

Please add this option as there are already third party programs (that break the TOS) that do this, and is a desired enough option that people are willing to get their accounts banned for it.

FF14 is about individual choice and player options. It's about player empowerment and the player individual experience. Please add this harmless option.

And they should be banned for it. FF14 should not allow echo Chambers where you allow only what you want. As much as I’d remove Lalafels from the game if I could….I can’t, and neither can you.

To be fair.. this is probably one of the currently most effective ways to argue AGAINST something on a forum, is to take the WORST possible position on it and defend it to the death.
