I want an option, please

To turn everyone's glamour's off except mine. I just want to see my glamour, for everyone else, i just want to see their baseline gear.

This option only affects my gameplay experience, and there is already baseline models and armor in the game.

Please add this option as there are already third party programs (that break the TOS) that do this, and is a desired enough option that people are willing to get their accounts banned for it.

FF14 is about individual choice and player options. It's about player empowerment and the player individual experience. Please add this harmless option.

I'm not on the same level of enjoyment though. I enjoy my own glam, I just don't want to see anyone elses. Why must I be forced (because it IS being forced) to have someone else's experience thrust on me, even though I don't consent?

All I'm asking for is the simple option to turn glamours off for everyone but my own character. It doesn't affect anyone else, and honestly, it's no one else's business what I see on my own screen, especially since it doesn't affect anyone.

It's my gpu, it should honestly be my choice.

To add onto what kevin said seeing others wear it is also a free form of advertisement. To make an option to make everyone wear the basic outfit cuts off a possible way for someone to see a store costume and potentially buy it.

Unless you go off announcing that you are using said backdoor ways to hide others stuff already they don't scan computers and you should be safe. Unless you are a console player.

In this case yes, the devs care more about the free advertising than some people not liking the glams of others. Also: you act like this would be such an unusual thing for gamedevs in general? SE as a whole is one of the greediest game companies that exist. Easily on par with the worst of EA and activision-blizzard.
