Did destroying the moon fix Wuk Lamat?

This is a genuine question, but does the removal of the moon address any of the current issues plaguing FF14, whether it be the community or the weaknesses of this expansion/patch? Or is this just one giant Ascian trick to distract the masses?

A fun history lesson for the FF14 pure community, but the ability to put hats on Veria was figured out in 2021. For 4 years there was the ability to have hats on Veria and it was done by a few passionate nerds as well as updated. They spent more time on the development Wuk Lamat than they did figuring out how to put a hat on Veria as only until 7.3 has that became possible for purity players. This is not ok that SE is so far behind basic modders and helps show the scale of how primitive it is. FF14 as a game can be a lot better with quality of life improvements, added features, and means of adding more save slots for glamours. So I ask does SE forcing an old mod down the throats of purity players make the game currently unplayable? Did the moon allowing players to have Veria hats before ruin all of Endwalker and Dawntrail?

A week before 7.3 SE added new cash shop only items as more content is reserved there so less content is added to the main game despite already being a subscription based service. The moon did not take away this content or one's ability to enjoy it, the cash shop did, since subscriptions are not good enough anymore. If there is a community to blame that actively takes away content from other players and makes the game worse for their own exclusive group, look no further than those who support the cash shop.

In the end this is an old trick, to make the current state of the game community issues and not the developers' fault. Sometimes casuals are to blame, other times hardcore players, sometimes MSQ skippers, or Gooners in one form or another. In the end if some group of nerds can get around the security of a company that in 2025 gave $163 000 000 USD to its shareholders, maybe moon enjoyers are not the ones who should be taking blame, and the code itself needs improvement. Though all Ascians will tell you that is cheaper to blow up the moon than make the game better for its paying customers. If we take the profits they gave the shareholders from 2023 to 2025 that is half a billion in USD, which could not go into maker Verias have hats for everyone.

I am waiting for how the moon blowing up will fix Wuk Lamat. Perhaps they have a patch in a week where they triple the content, and we just need to all buy 40$ worth of boring cash shop outfits to unlock it.

The weird hateboner some of you people have for her is really, really weird. I don't like her much, either - she's just as annoying as any other shonen protagonist - but I swear some of ya'll are basing your entire personalities off hating her.

Yes.

Now Wuk Lamat makes for a compelling and enjoyable character. It all falls together neatly like a well oiled puzzle.
I like Wuk Lamat very much now and I hope to see her more in the future patches.

And the more mods SE would nuke the more I would love Wuk Lamat
