In complete agreement with OP. Really, I just want to know whether these features are coming or not. :c
Also, while I'm here, fully customisable LS logos would be nice!![]()

I think something was said about more tools for linkshells coming, however they would come first with the text command before giving a UI option. I think something along those lines were posted last week.

/lsmes Yes Please! I hate not being able to ask question to my LS especially since people are in a lot of different time zones.
I think people are getting companies confused with factions, mixed in with WoW guilds.
Linkshell: The guild of FFXIV
Companies: The player made, and NPC made factions of FFXIV
Guilds: You can maek craftings here.
I also agree with the OP.
And by the way, what are the details about deleting a linkshell and starting over? I really like what I have, and I'm worried that if I delete it, the name won't be available. How does that work?

What I did was just break the linkshell then make it again right away. Once it's broken, the name is available again. Just don't wait to create it and I'm sure you'll be fine.
Very very sad that no mention was made in linkshell management capability's to come soon. I'll just weep softly to myself now.

Signed. I may make this a daily thing that I do as I've seen a ton of threads regarding this particular issue. It's not like it's a contentious issue either. It's something that everybody needs. I don't understand the delay and I'm also getting a bit frustrated. It still doesn't even have a dev tag. We get a dev tag for a spoiler, i.e. Ifrit battle, but we still don't have any dev tag recognition for something that is should be integral to social gaming, and that is group management tools.
The proposals set by the OP aren't only basic, but absolutely necessary.
Day #1

Even if they are forming companies that have more options, we should still have a couple more options for linkshells.
My main issues are:
-Promoting members only when in same area and near by
-Not being able to remove inactives
-No lsmes
I understand linkshells seeming as just social to many, but the aspect is still the same. So far it's a huge inconvenience just to keep the linkshell 'clean'.
I could go with having all the 'online' members at the top of the list too :P
