I'm equally puzzled. If you mean Shurrikhan's comment about audio mastering and such, Reyn, I took that to be about technical issues... which, honestly, feels fair; I do think some of the tracks were beautiful compositions that could've been executed better; some of the tracks always felt to me like they were overcompressed.

If you are referencing my comment about my bemusement that it was the zones I hated in 1.x where I most loved the music, that had nothing to do with reused leitmotifs (or lack thereof); that's just personal taste. My lukewarm feelings towards Twilight over Thanalan had nothing to do with motif, and just that I personally didn't like the song as much as Whisper of the Land or On Windy Meadows.

(If you want actual reasons on it, it's because while the song itself is perfectly nice -- and I'm reasonably fond of it when used in certain other contexts -- it just never felt right for Thanalan for me in 1.x, for some reason, so I had a bit of mental disconnect/dissonance with it that left me with less fondness for the song than I had for the other two city-states' main zone melodies, which -- for whatever reason -- seemed to me to perfectly capture their feel.)
