New 6.3 Systems Settings Summary

Here are the new system settings in 6.3 you might be looking for:

Disable legacy camera pivot:

Character Config
Control Settings
General
Disable camera pivot.

Disable Right-click targeting:

Character Config
Control Settings
Mouse
Disable right-click selection of [player characters / non-player characters in battle / minions] (3 settings)

Disable duty start portraits:

Character Config
UI Settings
General
Show party member portraits at the start of duty.

Moving/resizing the duty portraits:

First, enable party member portraits notification.
Character Config
UI Settings
General
Display party member portraits notification.


Then enter a duty. When the duty start portraits disappear, they will minimize to the notification for a short time.


Check the notification and the portraits will reappear, but the title bar will have some buttons. You can now grab the title bar to move it, or right click to change its scale.

Disable commendation portraits:

Character Config
UI Settings
General
Display portraits in the player commendation window.

Party status durations:

Character Config
UI Settings
Party List
Display remaining time of status effects.

Clear Blue theme:

System Config
Theme Settings
Clear Blue (requires relog)

Auto-umbrella when raining:

/fashionguide or Character Menu > Fashion Accessories
Right-click / submenu button on your favorite umbrella
Enable Auto-umbrella

Thanks! I'm glad they give separate toggles for Duty Start and Commendation Portraits, I'll definitely disable the latter.

Why not? portraits make the game more exciting, and make it feel more like you're part of the msq when not in msq. I don't get why someone would turn it off. That's so boring.

I fail to see the exciting part and how it makes me feel part of msq? To each their own. I haven’t set my portrait anyway.

In Legacy mode, prior to patch 6.3, Move Left / Move Right would cause the camera to arc slightly, instead of maintaining the camera orientation. Disabling the pivot fixes this, so that you can Move Left / Move Right in a straight line.
