When I saw the avg item level at 595, I was a little worried that things would melt since even someone doing the bare minimum of buying crafted gear would have 610, and upgrading it to 620 is pretty easy. I was right to worry; the bosses melt fast, like wow do they die fast. Second boss' dps meter feels like a parody. Imagine taking the whole amount of time to kill one of them. I've still never seen the enrage happen firsthand. I've watched streams where it happened, and to get to that point, they had ~20 people dead for the entire fight and even then they went in on their second attempt, had about the same number of people dying, and barely managed to win anyway because the actual enrage mechanic has the timer going down to 0, the boss chilling for like another 30 seconds, and then flying over to the corner where he starts casting the longest, slowest enrage cast you've ever seen in your life. They killed him while he was casting it, and that canceled the enrage; then they killed the sister. I think an enrage timer on halone would have upped this entire place in difficulty, since people tend to struggle in the dutyfinder there. I've been in bad runs of halone that lasted 11 minutes lol. And yeah, final boss just being the left/right dog from eden10 with a room cleave eden9 floating lady boss was so underwhelming. Nophica's design was pretty, but her actual fight design was incredibly boring and so 2 dimensional that I initially guessed it and then thought "no, it couldn't be that superficial, there has to be more to it" but it was that obvious, you literally just match the color lol. And then I thought "well I bet she'll stack it with another mechanic later," but she died before she could do anything.
What I wish they'd do is add more hp to all of these, or speed up the mechanics, one or the other. Preferably the second; I'm not trying to be in an alliance raid run for 20 years. And then put that dope-ass enrage mechanic in every boss from now on, in general, just because it was nice seeing the dps actually feel a little pressure in normal content for once.
edit: For perspective, I ran it 8 times on day 1 as various healing jobs, and also put a team together and ran it in the first hour of its release. Then I ran it several more times the next day as a dps and as a healer, queuing alone with full dutyfinder squads that sucked, but didn't wipe. In all that time, I've seen two (2) wipes, and both were when I decided not to heal it. Both of them were because too many people died before Halone's add phase. Fun fact, if you die before it comes up and get ressed, sometimes you will res outside the cage and die again.
