Ever since the function of transferring to another Data Center has been added into the game via Aetheryte, i have been having the packet loss issues everyone else here is talking about.
But for me, it's not every few minutes, or every hour, no, it's every 5 seconds!
Which means that, from my point of view, the game freezes for 2 seconds, fast forwards for 2 seconds, and repeads itself once up to 5 seconds have passed.
Because of this, i can literally not play Ninja anymore, it's impossible!
Healing becomes close to impossible because every 5 seconds i brace for 4 seconds of blindness.
No other game, no other application, no other software has any issues with my internet connection or with packet loss whatsoever, it has exclusively been Final Fantasy XIV for months now, and i am sick of it.
On weekends, there is a big chance that i won't be able to play at all, while on weekdays, the lags only start occurring at rush hour, and proceed into the night.

No matter how i look at this, this is an issue caused by player population and the fact that you developers have allowed everyone to switch servers around as if changing socks, and naturally, alot of people are having issues because of it.
When so many people travel from one data center to the other, and in the next moment just travel to another, or return to their initial one, of course this puts a heavy load on your servers and their capacities, and in turn, this makes the experience for alot of actual players literally unplayable.

I've been on FF XIV since 2014 February in total, and not once did i consider taking a break or quitting, but i am considering leaving this dumbster fire behind now.
The developers have stopped paying attention to the things that matter, i mean just look into these forum pages, not a single moderator is giving a fart about these issues.

There are countless entries about these specific lags occuring since 6.3, but not a single SE person or moderator is actually bothering to leave a statement.

i've stayed quiet for so long, but i'm at the end of my wit.
