New leap of Faith is trash

No one. Literally no one asked for this. Of all things the things you could of done with the Gold saucer you choose to waste time and resources on.. this?

The new Leap is trash. Its too long. WAY too long.

Its not fun. Its not fun because its too long for the content. This is a basic GATE game. Basic GATE games should not take this long to do for peanuts.

You could have given us a new game but you choose to give us a new leap, that no one asked for. A team of people literal got payed to design content this terrible. That deeply offends me.

Congrats on designing trash that wastes peoples time for no reason.

The problem with the newest Leap of Faith map (Sylphstep) is that it's honestly just too god damn long, with Kugane Tower-level jumps and only 10 minutes to complete it.

I've ended up trying the map twice, and both times I ended up taking a dive near the end, causing me to lose all progress and not have enough time to complete the GATE. These are the first Leap of Faith GATEs I have ever failed, mind you.

I'd really appreciate it if they could at least give us 20 minutes to complete the map instead of the usual 10.

Worst part is that you could literally go hours with ONLY leap of faith. The first two maps, I'll do them if I need the challenge log. The newest one has some weird hit boxes, for me anyways, and is extremely punishing more so than the other two maps.

If it gave more MGP/had more time in it, I'd deal with it, but for now I'll flat out ignore it.

Plus where I'm at with chocobo racing I can get just about as much MGP, if not more, from 3 chocobo races in the R300

I have to agree. It would have been better to make an entirely new mini game as opposed to...yet another jump puzzle. This time with people spending 5+ minutes on the pinecone segments which have proven particularly irksome.

I think people just don't like it because it's too hard for them, but games usually have some sort of challenge in them.

They make 2 new GATEs each expansion usually. It's part of the regular content cycle.

It's popular content among sprouts because it's very low level content and one of the few interesting things they can do at the start of the game.

I think the developers just enjoy the Gold Saucer and the idea of it, because Mahjong was just a passion addition to add lore to the game (that Domans play Mahjong) and not exactly something everyone wants to queue for like GATEs.

They should have put some checkpoints in so you're not going all the way back to the beginning when you fall. They should also give more MGP for scheduled things that you can't just spam as much as you like.

No surprise here. It looked really long and convoluted in the LL (Yoshi didn't seem to know where to go LOL). A bigger MGP reward may be in order.
