PS4/PS5 Controller On PC Analog Stick Sensitivity Issue

Hello. I'm having kind of a weird issue, I recently switched to PC after playing on playstation for 7 years and I'm using a DS4 controller but the analog sticks feel really sensitive. When moving forward I have to move the stick straight up or else my character starts to slightly drift left or right, same thing happens with the camera. The in game stick sensitivity setting does not fix the issue it just increases how far from the neutral position I need to move the stick for it to register in game. I've tested 3 different PS4 controllers and one PS5 controller and they all have the same problem. This is not a thing on PS5, there's clearly a deadzone before the character turns left or right when holding forward.

I found a workaround, I added FFXIV as a non steam game and increased the sticks deadzones in the steam controller configuration (using the cross deadzone shape) and now it feels closer to the PS4/PS5 version.
