New PLD doesn't really seem as bad, the structure of the Job functions, but theirs a lot of adjustments that should be made, I feel like atonement needs adjustments right now it feels weird, I'd like to say reduce it to 2 charges but a bit stronger or doing a atonement combo also gives you a charge of holy spirit (in that case double stacking holy spirit might be cool) but I wouldn't know how that would effect it in 1/2 minutes, apparently I've heard new PLD doesn't even fit into 1 minutes or 2 minutes properly, the job is so bad in anything before stormblood, HW you just feel like ARR pld with one extra button a minute, ARR pld is still super bland, they really need to move holy spirit and divine might to early levels as of right now i don't really wanna do any sort of content that could synch you down to ARR or HW as PLD, just because the job feels really lacking and boring, Goring Blade is a boring 60 second button i wish it would have at least been another third part combo that gave you a damage buff (even if it copies warrior at least you still use goring blade as another combo...), I really don't think goring blade is a good ability it's animation even looks pretty weak for a "700 potency" tank move as well, fight or flight seems pointless as req is already your burst? why not just buff PLD's burst and remove fight or flight.

I feel like the base of this design actually is pretty neat in some areas, I love how flexible holy spirit is now for ranged or sustain outside of bursts, I like the shortened REQ I feel like it's much better, it still feels like PLD's the Holy magic Knight but now less split up with melee and magic phases, the rework does show potential in my eyes, despite liking old PLD, I'm open to see more changes I hope they can start taking the Job in better directions PLD's need a less hot bar bloat as well, don't need to remove anything like cover/clemency even if they're "situational" we can just make space by merging existing abilities In my opinion.
