I cant get past the loading screen when logging in.
"Connection with the server was lost" (90002) error.
I was able to log in normally prior to 7pm.
I tried traveling to a different world server with the same result.

Traveling to another Data Center allowed me to log into game.
I went to Aether ---> Jenova and Cactaur

It was recently announced that issues with the Primal data center were resolved. I'm starting to suspect that those issues still persist.

Update: As of about 30 hrs from my original posting. No change. Still getting disconnected at the loading screen during log in.

Travelling to a different data center entirely works, but still get the 90002 error when I log in if I send him back to Primal even on any Primal world. I can log my alt in fine on Primal, its something specific to certain characters.

Having the same issue. Started out of the blue last night after playing all day long, I got disconnected and now I cannot login to any Primal worlds. I can manage to get into other Data Centers just fine, but with the limitations in playing in another DC I can't do anything I need on them, so basically I can't play the game aside from being afk there.

Tried using a VPN, flushing DNS, verifying the game's integrity, and all the usual useless measures. Nothing helped.

After moving to another Data Center and trying to get back to Primal, my character's position was changed to my home city's aetheryte, as that's what happens when you do that, but I still face the same issue. So it's not a matter of the character being stuck in a glitched location or something. All Primal worlds are affected, not just my home world.

There was a post yesterday saying it was caused by server equipment but that it has been solved (https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...bb74399cb05e35). However it's clearly not completely resolved.

Same problem. I got back on briefly but went immediately back to the 90002 depths. The email I got form support said it was a character data issue, but I can't log in on other computers either. The said that if that didn't work that I would just have to wait until the server recognized my character as offline.

I think you're right, the issues weren't resolved at all.

My character has been offline for over 10 hours now. If that's not enough time for the servers to recognize it is offline, then I don't even know what to say.

I am having the exact same problem described above, including to the fact that it is only one character that has the problem. It has been going on since 6am Central Standard Time on Jan 11 until now 10am Central.

Issue is not resolved whatsoever I am not allowed on my main in Excalibur despite it being offline all night but can get on my alt in Jenova no problem.

I tried to log in with another char in same account and same datacenter/world and I could log into game without any problems, so the issue is a character's issue and not an account one.

Yep they did something and now certain character files are in limbo my lala alt in the same server same FC/location can log in no problem.

SAME. I'm able to play the game login and no issues with all characters BUT ONE. That one will non-Stop give me 90002 just after logging into. This was the character I was logged into last night when first booted with 90002 error.
