Re-vamped old macros for the new 3-star recipes in patch 6.3

To deal with the new 3-star recipes (a.k.a. 3-star-Plus recipes), such as the i620 Indagator's Coat of Crafting (Diff: 5720, Qual: 12900, Dur: 70), the old macros used for the 3-star Rinascita gear in the previous patch are basically re-used with a little tweak to cater the harsher requirement of progress completion.

    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3*+ 70dur #1 656cp Done! <se.2>

    /ac Innovation <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Trained Finesse" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3*+ 70dur #2 656cp Complete! <se.6>

I basically just removed the "Final Appraisal" in macro #1 from the old Rinasita gear rotation since we cannot pre-maturely complete the item anyway.

I then substituted the last "Basic Syn" with a "Careful Syn" to cater the harsher progress completion.

Craftsmanship Requirement for the above macros:
3757: NOT enough to finish with a Careful Syn
3761: Enough to finish with a Careful Syn
3846: NOT enough to finish with a Basic Syn
3861: Enough to finish with a Basic Syn (saves 7 CP) [can be acquired after a few pieces of the new i620 Indagator's gear set]

If you have fewer than 3757 craftsmanship after food, you need to adjust the above rotation, so that you can complete the item. Perhaps saving up another 18 CP somewhere to use Veneration before the last Careful Syn, or perhaps Observe + Focused Syn.

If you have over 3861 crafts, then simply replace the last Careful Syn with Basic Syn again (which means reverts back to the original rotation for Rinascita gear).

I strongly recommend using Trial Syn first to see if you can complete the item before doing the real thing. Also, pay attention to Specialist vs Non-specialist issue... your Non-specialists will have significantly fewer craftsmanship. So be careful.

Depending on whether you're crafting LEFT gear or RIGHT gear (accessories), the number of HQ mats needed can vary. LEFT gear actually requires MORE HQ mats (like 2 to 3 pieces). RIGHT gear requires fewer, like 1 to 2 pieces. This of course also depends on your control stats.

Generally-speaking, we DO NOT need Craftsman's Alkahest or Zoisite to be HQ, because we can always rely on HQ crafted mats from the previous patch (e.g. Ilmenite Ingot and Bayberry Cloth). Thus, I am not including the macros for the new 35 durab items here. However, you can still use the old ones from previous patch below if you need them... just check with Trial Syn to make sure you can complete the items first, and tweak as you see fit:

    /ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Final Appraisal" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3* 35dur #1 631cp Done! <se.2>

    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3* 35dur #2 631cp Complete! <se.6>

Btw, in case anyone's wondering, the "Tricks of the Trade" is there to prevent a "Poor" condition on the Byregot. This guarantees HQ.

    Hi there,

thank you for posting these macros. They helped me a lot on my little journey to craft the latest DoH/DoL gear. I'm done crafting them in HQ, but I have to ask you about the Tricks of the trade action in the macro in the bottom section of your post out of curiosity. You wrote that its reason to be used is to prevent the Poor condition for Byregot's Blessing and that this guarantees HQ.

My question is, how does it guarantee (important, the emphasis is on "guarantee") to prevent poor on Byregot's Blessing? Let's look at the sequence:

    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>

Is there no way that the following case could happen or am I missing some knowledge how these kind of things work?
    1. Normal condition on Tricks of the trade. Nothing happens and you get the error message.
    2. Excelent condition on Innovation.
    3. Poor condition on Byregot's Blessing.

If nothing happens it doesn't use up a turn; tricks of the trade either consumes a good/excellent or isn't able to be pressed.
So if there's an excellent/good tricks will eat it and innovation gets the poor, or if there's not, the next possible excellent/good is on byregot's blessing.

    Hi Krylith,

I'm glad they were of help!

Here are the only possible scenarios:
    1. If Normal condition on Tricks. Nothing happens.
    2. CANNOT have Excellent or Good condition on Innovation --> If Normal condition on Tricks, Tricks will not be triggered, it doesn't take up a step, so condition will not change but remain at Normal for Innovation.
    3. After Normal on Innovation, Byregot can be on anything ranging from Normal to Good to Excellent.

    1. If Excellent on Tricks, then Tricks triggered.
    2. Poor will now appear for Innovation.
    3. Byregot will get Normal.

    1. If Good condition on Tricks, then Tricks triggered.
    2. After Good is always normal, so it's guaranteed to be Normal for Innovation.
    3. Byregot will now have a chance to have either Normal, Good or Excellent again.

I haven't changed my macros since the hardest items were 3900 Dur. Stat creep has handled most of it. I do have finishers now. They require HQ for all available HQ items.

    Non spec: Craft 3731, Cont 3575, 588CPs.

    L 70:
    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo "Macro #1 Complete" <se.1>

    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /echo Craft finished <se.2>

    If it is at 100%:
    micon "Basic Synthesis"
    /ac "Careful Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis"

    If not:
    /micon Innovation
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis"

Before I upgraded some gear to instigator's I used to use HQ Mejillones al Ajillo for the Craftsmanship but now its HQ seafood stew just for the CP cushion to use that oh **** last finisher macro.

Stats way lower than mine can use these with better food.
