Thread: Review of 6.3 Story Content

Personally, if I'm to considered it to be a problem, then it's pretty much a structural problem. Every expansion concluded with the last MSQ of the launch portion of the game. Then, the next 3 years are basically just doing small jobs to set up the next expansion.

- Other MMO use the end of the launch portion as the start of the real story and build up from there to the grand finale.
- FF14 real story end with the launch portion, after that it's just small side/after story kind of thing.

It's a design choice, one that I am not exactly a fan of. But, it's pretty much how thing is since the very beginning, so I consider it's less of a problem and more how FF writer does their story.

Maybe you should, and I'm saying that honestly, not sarcastically. IMO if anyone play FF14 solely for the story, the best bang for your buck provbably is just finish the launch story, then don't come back until a month before the next expansion, go through 3 years worth of after/story contents before jumping right into the next expansion again.


Don't get me wrong, I do love FF14's story. The high it deliver is up there with some of the best single player story. But like I said above, it's structured in a way most of that is already delivered at launch. Anyone who hope for even half of the experience in the following years will only find disappointment.

Also, for the love of Christ get rid of Y’shtola already. People are sick of her. They have been for quite some time, in fact.

I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to bring back the twins this patch but their presence was as grating and unwanted as always.

To you. Then again as far as I can see this entire game isnt to your liking so..why are you here exactly?

Society at large is tired of these characters

I must once again voice my marked disappointment in the continued misuse of the animation budget for even more food scenes. The amount of time and money that has been wasted on this could’ve been made up twice over by a proper animated depiction of key events like the sundering, Hydaelyn/Zodiark summonings/transformations, or even the much requested elezen animation rework because goodness knows they need one.

The entire concept of a voidsent rediscovering her humanity went straight past you, didnt it? BTW...this, as you probably dont explore whilst in the throes of your righteous indignation..Zero isnt the only memoriant we have met.

To say that this is a gross exaggeration would be like calling the Titanic a rather large boat..I still dont get where you get this idea you speak for "a large body of people" when in fact you are one of a small group of whiners who, quite frankly, are getting tiresome with your continued naysaying and nitpicking.
