Seems to be a memory leak

Never had this issue before i installed patch 6.3. Game runs perfectly fine while running around doing nothing, until i enter an instanced area of combat/dungeon. then randomly my memory usage will skyrocket to 24,000 and freeze the game requiring me to shut the game down.

This has never been a problem in the past, and its not a hardware issue, I'm running a 3080ti with 64 gigs of memory. I tried reinstalling the game, graphics drivers, etc. nothing works, so i currently cant play the game atm.

I have the same issue, and seems like so do many people on reddit.

I am running a completely vanilla game client, non steam version, no overlays of any kind. Only the game is running and Discord/chrome. I have crashed around 20 times today already, I didn't have any issues before this patch.

I have tried dx9 and dx11, limiting fps to 60, I was on an older nvidia driver but updated it and it still crashes.

I don't have the new beta graphics option enabled (the resolution thing?) and I turned off the party list timer in case that did anything, but it still crashes.

During the crash, the game freezes, but audio still plays. Looking at task manager the game consumes all system memory during the crash.

I'm running a 2080ti with 64gb of ram.

The same exact thing is happening to me as well. Game freezes, audio plays, and memory skyrockets. Never had an issue and been playing since 2.0. Not sure what the cause of the issue is

Been having a lot of lag, especially in the new raid. I'd usually blame my internet, but I just upgraded it yesterday and it was performing perfectly otherwise.

Same here after the 6.3 patch. I hope they fix it soon. when the game freezes show's Memory and CPU at 100% usage. Never had one problem before 6.3 patch.

Just bumping post, seem to be having the same issue. Plus server lag, I can't play alliance raids because the lag is so bad. Other games are fine. Instances are playable but still laggy.
