I do play and I've been excited for these changes since they were announced. I know it's not a small change. I'm just commenting on the levels of paranoia that exist about these things. People thought the job would be "gutted" in the same way SMN supposedly was.I don't think you play Paladin if you don't know how much these changes do to our rotation, it's not summoner levels of rework but It's pretty massive a lot more then any recent change other then SMN. It's not "small adjustments"
EDIT: just adding circle of scorn is nothing like how goring blade or valor worked, they were strict and always apart of our rotation, Scorn you press on cooldown lol.


I'm somewhat excited but a bit disappointed with how they went about reworking goring blade into another "press every 1 minute button" Having magic outside burst is a huge W In my opinion, allows PLD to flow more and feel less strict, you can save your holy spirit (outside of raid buff), for 1. need a small sustain, 2. go into ranged Pld might actually feel so good at higher levels.
A big issue is PLD is going to feel even worse before they get magic, it's going to be 1, 2, 3 still in ARR, hw You don't even have dot management, they really need to look at how PLD plays early game because it feels really boring and will put off people levelling the job, In general PLD still needs a bit more polish in my opinion it's got a bunch of bloat (cover & shield bash), it's got still a clunky raid wide in Passage, also I really dislike intervention I'm hoping the rework it so you don't have to actively be mitigating rampart/sentinel to get "bonus" effects aka the same effect as your normal CD.
PLD likely going to be in a really good spot for Level 90 content, it's going to be actually be a good MT option with how PLD's get generally more uses out of holy Shelltron but now doesn't lack a personal, I think warrior might still need a Damage buff, we're unsure about if PLD gonna have big numbers or not right now.
I agree with most of this, but I feel like DoT management shouldn't be a thing for ANY tank. It wasn't even much in the way of management. I say this having played jobs in other games that actually juggled DoTs for their DPS. It only gained one button with bulwark. The tank stance is an interchanging action.
I hope the PLD change is decent, because those potency changes look oof at face-value. But idk how those line up anymore, so... who knows, it might pay off.
But what the hell is up with Shake it Off? xD




Most of the rotation is low potency so that the burst can be high potency though.
Regens to counter dots. Which makes you wonder why PLD didn't get a regen on theirs.But what the hell is up with Shake it Off? xD
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.

I'm so glad i can aoe heal and shield without and silly stuff proccing, just like warriors, you guys deserve your regens on shake it off (I wish pld got that now though xD)


Does paladin now have more skills than will fit on 3 bars (including role actions) ?
