    I hope they make it more flexible with atonements, clemency also takes up req, clemency should just not be effected by req at all.. I also think they should just remove FOF, it's pointless at the moment you just use it with your req burst, buff the burst.

    In general new rotation seems ok so far, goring blade is still very meh.

    Wow, way to fuck this up. Lets just turn it into every other job with big burst windows. Running dungeons with rotating buffs? Gone. Good sustained damage for general content? Nope. Nice variation between ranged and melee phases? Go play a different game. Apparently Tanks are now just DPS who need to conform to this 2 minute window bs.

    Any petitions going on getting rid of this crap in exchange for the old paladin?

    Nothing surprising, SE basically only knows how to rearrange the same basic puzzle pieces into slightly different shapes, at this point.

    It hurts to see the incompetence of changing the class so it can work within current meta leads to stupidifying it to the point of losing all its personality.

    Make Shield Bash useful in some way and either combo off of goring blade/into goring blade. Alternatively, make both OGCDs. One of these things would smooth out new paladin IMO.

    How useful it is going to be, I don't know. However, Divine Might Holy Spirit takes precedence over Requiescat Holy Spirit. This means, if you go into Req with Divine Might, you can, mid blade combo, use Holy Spirit, which uses up Divine Might but will NOT consume a Req stack and continue with the blade combo eg.

    Req (DM/4) > Confiteor (DM/3) > Blade of Faith (DM/2) > Holy Spirit (2) > Blade of Truth (1) > Blade of Valor (0)

    Atonement still breaks the combo.

    The more you look, the more you can see flexibility, however, knowing that it is all still confined to the FoF cooldown, so you cannot go into it however you want, is really going to stifle that flexibility.

    they didnt listen to kaiten feedback, it took like 7 years to make Living Dead 'not complete cancer for the healer to deal with', they only just added stacks to hypercharge so people who don't live in the server room can play MCH, they don't and won't listen to any feedback about these changes to PLD. the only hope to hold onto is to complain not about PLD, but about the 2min meta in general, as it's screwing over design for every class, even ones that don't exist yet. if the 2min meta stays, we know any new classes added will do all their damage at 2min windows, and then filler combo their way to the next 2min in some way. no 'sustained DPS profile' allowed, gotta burst at 2min.

    I feel like Goring Blade should be an OGcd either that or Fight or Flight needs to be slightly longer, other than that I'm pretty happy with the changes over all

    Yeah, feels a bit weird. That being said, I think PLD flows way better now. I'm a big fan of you using a spell after your physical combos (unless that was there before - not at cap yet).

    Haven’t played with it yet so can’t say for sure. But one red flag for me is requiescat granting confiteor ready. With ping issues and just general lag, having an oGCD grant the buff that lets you use your next GCD has always been a recipe for disaster.

    Overall as disappointed as I expected to be. In fact I was surprised they didn’t do more. The rotation change was pretty much what I thought they’d do, veil change was expected, sheltron was expected, bulwark was expected. I thought we’d see shield bash and cover get reworked or removed. Was expecting them to touch on hallowed ground at this point as it’s considered one of the weakest invulns.

    Sad to see the physical magical split is now gone, it was one of the things I liked about PLD that unlike ninja it didn’t just shove everything into a burst window but swapped between its 2 “modes”.

    I will speak not in terms of high level play but mostly through casual enjoyment:
    That Divine Might feels so awkward, while it is nice it has a 30 second that allows an instant cast, it still flows weird.

    Might need to play more but at the moment it is a mixed bag. Love the Divine Veil and Sheltron changes, totally forgot to put Bulwark ooops
